This place is fantastic!!! I just googled Mediterranean food near me and this was one of the places that popped up and despite how picky I am, I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed I ordered online and when I arrived I was greeted immediately (I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to say hello because it’s not always the case these days) and my food was ready and waiting for me! It smelled so good and the place was so clean and it had a friendly atmosphere so I decided to order some french fries and just ate my gyro sandwich while I waited. It didn’t take long to cook the fries (which were also fantastic) but I loved the sandwich so much that it was finished before they were even done. The owner noticed how fast I ate and commented on how hungry I must’ve been and gave me a free dessert which was really thoughtful (truth is I wasn’t even that hungry, the food was just so good that i didn’t want to put it down). I noticed him also go over to another table and kindly hand them dessert as well and I can’t tell you the last time I saw a business be so generous. This is how you get customers to become regulars, as I’ll definitely be back!

Burgerim Gourmet Burgers – Menu with Prices – 120 W CityLine Dr Suite 600, Richardson

Came for the grand opening and honestly was super disappointed. Waited in line for about like 45 min before opening really hungry and ready to get this free burger and buy some fries and etc. They had like 2 vendors come out and a DJ and had lots of balloons and what not. Finally after waiting in the heat they open the doors at 12:05pm and only let 10 ppl at a time. Me and my bf get inside and we get to “order” and by that I mean they had pre made burgers sitting out and we only got to choose from 2 options the grilled chicken or the regular burger. So now that I didnt get to try the burger I wanted to try ( assuming we could choose any burger since the advertising said free burger.. you would think it would be any of their burgers that you could choose from) we ordered a fries and grabbed our burger from the counter (who knows how long it’s been sitting in the back already made) We sit down the burger is pretty small and super sad. The veggies looked super non existant. I opened the burger and finally found it hiding. The burger was sooo dry and super chewy. Like some frozen patty that you get at your school cafeteria lunch. It was so bad I would not pay like 8 bucks for this. The fries finally came out after we finished our burger and we had to go up there to ask when our fries were done. They had it just sitting up there and no one delivering to our table.. The fries were so small.. and it was like potato chips? It was definitely better than the burgers but still so pricy for the amount of fries and size of it. Also what was really annoying was there was nothing on the table. At least have some napkins… you have to grab everything at a station which was annoying to do when theres a bunch of ppl in the store. Giving 2 stars cause they tried and gave free burgers but honestly this just made me realize why these burger IM have bad reviews and that the quality of these burgers is defin not worth the price. In and out is a million times better than this and cheaper go there instead.

Board Bites – Menu with Prices – 6100 K Ave 104 B, Plano

My fiance and I stopped by to pick up lunch here. The restaurant is very new, nice, and cool inside! It kind of has a gastropub look that you wouldn’t expect from the outside. As we are open to anything, I asked for the two recommendations, in which we were given the kofta (ground beef) and chicken. I got both as a meal which came with a drink and fries, and also got a side of hummus and pita bread. While I was waiting, the super friendly staff member who gave me the suggestions also gave me a sample of a freshly made falafel. It was delicious! I took the food home which travelled well. The fries were excellent. I’m not sure what seasoning they used, but it made the fries were different and yummy. Our favorite pita sandwich between the two was the kofta, which was savory and fresh with the veggies included. The chicken pita sandwich was kind of a surprise, as it had more of a sour taste due to the pickle. In my opinion, it did not go well with the chicken. The hummus was very good and my fiance shamelessly finished the entire container. Overall, this is a great spot for Mediterranean food! I’d definitely come back for the kofta as well as the falafel! Enjoy!

Creamy Spoon French Bistro – Menu with Prices – 106 N Glendale Ave, Glendale

Great little place for brunch! Best part was how it’s styled like a little bakery/ cafe and there was absolutely no wait! Tried their salmon eggs Benedict and it was so yummy but a little smaller in portion than usual. But fortunately, they gave us a free chocolate mouse dessert and said that they didn’t want anyone to go home hungry! The dessert was also delicious btw. Deep chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. Their omelettes are also a must try! They are HUGE. Plus they also gave us free extra toppings on our omelette! How nice are they !? I recommend getting the morrocan and their house spicy sauce is also delish. Unfortunately I would avoid the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was extremely dry and the least favorite of our table. Ended up not finishing this dish. We regret ordering this. All plates come with a side salad but I would ask for the vinaigrette on the side. Overall, I could see this place catching on very soon!

Med Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 5870 E Broadway Blvd Space 548, Tucson

Wow! I tried Med Cuisine today for the first time. I had the Chicken Shawarma Pita Sandwich. It was one of my favorites ever. I have tried pretty much every Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant in Tucson, and this is the first that left me wanting it again and again. Afterward, I thanked the owner who was working the kitchen and mentioned I wanted to try his falafel. He gave me a plate with a falafel ball to sample and it was also delicious, but that shawarma stole my heart so I ordered another one right after lunch to take home for dinner. My husband did the same, but got the beef / marinated top sirloin shawarma. This will be my go-to place for shawarma. I loved it. On a side note, my sandwich comes with a mayo sauce or garlic sauce, but I love tahini sauce, so they were accommodating and gave me that when I asked for it instead of the options that come with it.

House of Hummus Mediterranean Cafe Menu with Prices 5950 North Point Pkwy #127, Alpharetta

I randomly searched for “mediterranean restaurant” around my office, and this place populated first with the highest rating. I went over for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. First, the platter portion is really good. I wanted to get full, so I ordered a lentil soup as well without knowing what the portion will be. I received french fries, a little bit of salad, pita bread, rice, and my choice of meat. The chicken shawarma had enough chicken, but the gyro platter had much more meat. Next time, I am going to get gyro for more meat. Chicken shawarma was savory and great and the fries were seasoned fries. They were not some blend fries, and I loved the fact that they were seasoned. The only downside might be the chicken was a little dry. I don’t know if people have tried this before, but when I eat rice at Mediterranean restaurants, eating it with soup is a great combination. So, I mixed rice with my lentil soup, and the combination was amazing here. Separately, the lentil soup was evenly flavored and savory. There are other great side options, and I am kind of excited to try other food at this restaurant. If you are in the area and want some really good and quick Mediterranean food, check out House of Hummus.

Tavern United Polo Park – Menu with Prices – 1405 St Matthews Ave, Winnipeg

The place was empty on a Friday night. Went with about 10 friends and there was only 2 other tables of two. We order drinks and it takes about 20 minutes to get them. We all order food. My wife and I didnt get our food until 45 minutes after everyone else got theirs. They finally got back to us and said some how our order didnt get processed ( they forgot) they gave my wife a bowl of chips and said we are putting your order in right now. It should be out soon. Meanwhile our whole party is finished eating so. We get our bill at the end of the evening and no comp no discount… nothing. My wife kindly mentioned our wait and if we could get compensation. They gave us a measly 7$ off our 90$ bill. With tip it still came out at 95$ I shouldnt have tipped but it comes as a habit when I go out. But the service was sub par and the serving size was terrible. If I’m paying extra for onion rings I expect more than 6. Would it recommend this location. My home location in Windsor park is 5/5 high recommended by me.

URBAN, Restaurante – Menu with Prices – 18505 NW 75th Pl, Hialeah

So my review is a bit mixed, but ill keep it short. The place: A Wynwood in Miami lakes, modern, clean and cute. The food: When we speak of the food itself, just that, the food is great and worth going back for. HOWEVER: The service we received was terrible and the reason why we haven’t returned in the past 2 years, and probably never will. I would like to think the waiter was new, but based on how the night went, I can tell it was the waiter and the management. First we ordered beer, it was HOT, who serves/drinks HOT beer? Upon complaining, they said there was nothing they could do…. ok.. I guess? Then we ordered our food. I ordered a hamburger and my boyfriend said that he wanted a chicken sandwich, which the girl said “oh youd like XYZ sandwich then” and he agreed to her “chicken sandwich” suggestion. We wait for our food about 30-40mins, which is quite a while considering they were simple foods. My burger was great, I had a mushroom and cheese hamburger. This came with waffle fries which were surprisingly great (I dont like waffle fries) and it was all very good with me. My boyfriends “chicken sandwich” ended up being a FISH sandwich, which he cannot eat. We asked our waiter if we could please return it as we had not ordered this sandwich. Instead of comprehending and moving on, she decided to argue with us and tell us that we had given her the wrong name of the dish… like really? we told you the type of food and YOU suggested the name, yet its our fault? really? after arguing with us, she took it back and got his order (all with an attitude). I was almost done with my meal when he received his. AGAIN! she took his order wrong! AGAIN, we ask for it to be returned. This time we did not want to replace our order. Instead we asked to speak to the manager. After arguing with us AGAIN, she ran off to her manager. The manager comes back, and we expected some form of apology, not a free meal nor anything else, just an apology. NOPE, the manager was just as difficult to speak too and didnt take responsibility for the experience nor his employee. In the end, my boyfriend didnt get eat and we were charged for my food and the beers.

Lobster Bar Sea Grille – Miami Beach – Menu with Prices – 404 Washington Ave, Miami Beach

We came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary!!! I had actually heard about the Ft. Lauderdale location but was so happy to find this one closer to us. I loved the outside entrance decor of different hues of blue and white. Walking in was like walking into a fine New York restaurant. I loved ALL the decor and the placement of the bar. It was separated from the actual dine in section but had a sophisticated lounge area. When we checked into our reservation the staff were all so very nice and even congratulated us on our anniversary complete with a signed card. That was very thoughtful. Once seated, our fabulous waitress Mariah (she is outstanding..really) congratulated us again and went over the menu with us. She really took her time to go over everything and all options. We were delighted to find they had a Miami Spice menu. It actually had everything we wanted so it was an easy choice to choose this option. Mariah also guided me on a nice white wine from Greece that went perfect with our dinner. While we waited and chatted she checked on us numerous times and more staff and even the managers passed by to say hello and congragulate us as well. It was so very nice and we couldn’t stop smiling to all the wonderful and kind attention we received throughout our whole evening. They all went above and beyond and really helped make our evening even more special. This whole establishment and experience just blew our minds away. We were having the best time and then it happened. The food came. OMG, the appetizer of the crabcakes were the BEST we’ve ever had (we’ve eaten alot of crabcakes but this was top knotch) it was just fresh crab on fresh crab, no need for breading or anything else. The grilled octopus was to die for and the quantity seemed like an entree serving, no complaints here. We tried to act proper and not clear the plate but it was hard trying not to just lick the plate clean. Yeah, it was that damn fantastic! The main course was even better. I had the lobster stuffed lobster. The lobster was so fresh it really didnt need any seasoning but was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth! Bae had the surf and turf and only allowed me one bite. Steak was so tender and juicy, lobster again so fresh and tasty. We were so stuffed and had completely forgotten about dessert. I went with the key lime bar (delicious) and he went with the profiletero (like small ice cream sandwiches) all were so good but than here comes Mariah again just going out of her way for us with an additional dessert with the words Happy Anniversary written in hard chocolate on it. This was so sweet to do that for us. This topped our romantic evening and we were truly delighted with our whole night here. This restaurant is fantastic! From the managers to the rest of the staff and cooks, this place is ridiculously perfect! We were also told they would be extending their Miami Spice menu until Novemeber and given cards to come back to enjoy a free glass of wine! We loved EVERYTHING here and are dying to come back and try their brunch menu as well. You guys have to check this restaurant out. The whole ambiance here is pure perfection!

Raptor Canyon Cafe – Menu with Prices – 75 E Pennington St, Tucson

I saw this place as I was parking downtown for a meeting, and decided to come with my daughter for lunch. We’re glad we found this little place that recently opened! The service was extremely friendly, they were happy to tell us all about the menu and answer our many questions. My daughter ended up getting the veggie burrito, which looked pretty fantastic, and I got the eggplant sandwich, which was also pretty fantastic! The owner talked up the fries to go with my sandwich for a dollar more, and he was right, they were so crispy and well-flavored! The sandwich had lots of marinara, and crispy eggplant. We loved the local art on the walls, the décor and menu just fits with the downtown environment. It’s great for the downtown working crowd in search of a great breakfast or lunch option!

Danny’s Deli Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 10838 Warwick Blvd, Newport News

Just had a horrible experience! We are 50 year patrons and I can’t believe what just happened. We ordered a standard Rueben sandwich on rye and it was delivered with the least amount of meat possible. We were really hungry when we arrived so we were looking forward to a nice sandwich. The sandwich was delivered and I commented on the fact that I didn’t see any meat. My guest finished the first half and opened up the second and there was one piece of meat about two inches squared. Meat almost non existent. When I looked at mine and my other guests’ sandwich, it was very similar. We asked the waitress about the deficiency and she told the owner Ellie. Ellie came to the table, and we relayed the same and showed her. She actually said “why didn’t you tell me before you ate the first half?”. I was appalled! Don’t know what she was implying, but I have been to thousands of restaurants and have NEVER been treated like that before. It was obvious that this is the way they make their sandwiches because all of the other sandwiches at our table were almost identical. I have probably eaten over a hundred reuben sandwiches at restaurants and this ranks at the rock bottom….LAST! It’s unfortunate, because the replacement half that they brought us was perfect. It had more meat piled on it than all three sandwiches combined. She was not gracious, she was rude and accusatory. Not the way an owner should act nor treat patrons. It is probably time to sell this to another owner, because this one has lost all sense of customer service. Our family has been nothing but supportive of Danny’s over the decades, and you would think, that a 50 year patron would garner some respect. Not today…Just terrible!

Cedar Palace – Menu with Prices – 655 W Armitage Ave, Chicago

My wife and I tried this wonderful Mediterranean restaurant for dinner. Everything was perfect. We had the Dolma for an appetizer. This was the best stuffed grape leaves that I have ever had. We both loved it. I had the dinner combination. This was a meat lovers dream. The beef Shawarma and the chicken Shawarma were very tasty, perfect! My wife had the Mediterranean Sautée. She thought it was fabulous, flavorful food. We had the cabbage salad, also very tasty!! We finished dinner off with the baklava, homemade and wonderful. The staff were warm, friendly, professional. The owner and chef visited all of the tables. Silvana clearly loves her to slight her customers with her family recipes. The Cedar Palace is a five star restaurant!!

K’s Tree House Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3860 State St, Santa Barbara

We were moving my daughter into the university and were caught at Target scrounging for dorm room supplies and starving. We Googled ?food near me? and K?s came up first because it was literally right across the street. We love old diners that seem a bit suspended in time. K?s did not disappoint. My wife got Lasagna, I got Eggs Benedict, my kids ordered chicken nuggets, taquitos, and a club sandwich. I should say that the nuggets and taquitos were literally frozen food fare straight off the freezer isle at any grocery store, but my strange kids loved it. Overall the food was ok. What set K?s apart was the friendly service and warm environment. Also, the coffee was great. Smooth and light like all old school diners used to serve. If you are looking for fancy, this ain?t it. If you are looking for a place for families that all want different things, this is it. Fast, friendly and filling.
