On a Saturday with events going on downtown, they had exactly one bartender/waitress. We came in and there were four people at the bar, and seven people sitting at various tables. Two couples came in after us. Despite acknowledging us, the waitress served the couples first (we were three women, so she couldn’t flirt with us). They received their food in fairly short order, maybe 15-20 minutes after walking through the door. It took us an hour. The most complicated meal we ordered was the bacon wrapped chicken skewers. The food was okay (when I ordered my meal, I asked if there was cheese on it. She snatched the menu out of my hand and said she’d make sure to add it to the order without verifying it was what I wanted. I was just asking a question!). Final point, do not order a soda. The machine has no carbonation and the drinks are just syrup mixed with water. She did not charge us for them, which was appreciated. Also, perhaps due to the staffing shortage, a lot of the meals came out wrong and had to be sent back. Not a confidence booster.

Zizi BBQ House – Menu with Prices – 3740 Iowa Ave, Riverside

I give this place two stars. The food is good but the service is so hit or miss depending on which server you get. The girl waitress I got today was horrible and makes me not want to come back ever. She could barely speak English which is understandable but it was the actual service itself. She got the basics: bring out our order. But when we asked for napkins, she brought out rice and proceeded to question us as if we were wrong. Then it took her half the meal to come back just to tell us there are no napkins. Mind you, we looked around and there are napkin boxes everywhere. My boyfriend reached back and grabbed it off the table and then she gave us a look. What’s a meal without napkins? Then after the meal when I went to go pay, she TOLD me to tip and that she prefers cash. Like ?? Your service was horrible and she had the ball a to tell me to tip her. It wasn’t even a question. I tipped anyway out of restaurant courtesy. However, on the other hand, if you get a guy with a bun, he is great. Super attentive and informative. And he never asked for tip ( he deserves it)

Stephanie’s Sandwiches – Menu with Prices – 10700 Jersey Blvd #100, Rancho Cucamonga

May 9th, 2019. I’ve been to stephanie’s a bit and its been a while since I’ve been here. I went after getting my blood work. When I’ve got inside the place, I was impressed of what they did to the place. They added a self serve soda machine that they didn’t have in the front of the place. They did have it behind the counter the last time i was there, but now they changed the soda machine (plus). The size was a bit smaller than me, but I had no problem. They didn’t have any ice from the machine, but the person who took my order put ice behind the counter and gave me ice so i could fill up my drink. Other than the soda machine, I had a great breakfast. With my drink that i have, i also ordered the french toast sticks. Both of those were $6. The french toast sticks were awesome here because they put sugar on the french toast sticks. I like the burger king ones, but they don’t put the sugar on the french toast sticks like what Stephanie’s would do. The flavor was so delicious that I could come back again here and order more of the french toast sticks.

Cloves Indian Café – Menu with Prices – 302 A Jefferson St, Lafayette

I was really looking forward to eating here. I showed up right when they opened. The woman behind the counter was putting music on to play. I told her I hadn’t been there before, at which point I thought she asked me if I’d been there before, and I repeated that I hadn’t. From a distance, she asked me if this was for here, and I said yes. So I studied the menu on the wall while the woman put together what I thought was someone’s phone order. When she finished, she asked me again if the order was for here, and I said yes. When she started ringing it up, I said, “Wait, is that mine? I didn’t order yet.” She said, “Yes you did. You ordered the special.” “No I didn’t,” I said, and she said, “Yes you did. Twice I asked you if you want the special, and twice you said yes.” “No I didn’t,” I said. By this time, she was visibly annoyed, so when I said, “Forget it” and started to leave, she said, “No, it’s okay,” but I left anyway. If I had answered yes twice to some question she asked — and I don’t remember hearing her ask if I wanted the special — it would have been because I misunderstood the question due to the bad acoustics and music. But why wouldn’t she have asked me what I wanted instead of asking me a yes or no question? And why not reply, “I’m sorry, I misunderstood” instead of arguing with me? Huge disappointment.

Red Lobster – Menu with Prices – 163 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids

We went early Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was very stuffy. I requested if they could turn down the air, they seated us in a section by ourselves and adjusted the temperature. A few minutes later another couple was seated by us and complained about the fans blowing so a different manager told them she would turn the fans down or off. Our waitress was taking our order at the time and asked if the manager had told the new couple she would turn up the air and I said(the look on my face was why our waitress asked since the manager was very quiet and respectful to the new couples concern) yes, our waitress then left to speak with the manager and explained that I was not happy about the temp and the humidity, so the manager came over and asked us if it would be ok to move us to a different location which had multiple fans blowing and was much better for temp and humidity, easier to breathe. We were very pleased with the new seats and as usual service was AWESOME. But when we went to pay for our meal the manager gave us a discount for asking us to move which was not necessary but was greatly appreciated.

Don Pepito Tropical Eatery – Menu with Prices – 4150 W Vine St, Kissimmee

I want to start by saying I was very excited to go to Don Pepito. I had been following them on social media for a while and it looked delicious. The owners seemed very present and I love when my people open businesses and try my best to support them. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and met 2 other couples for lunch. We waited at the bar where we were served delicious passion fruit mojitos… when the rest of our party arrived we were seated promptly with no issues (it was not busy and rather empty inside) We ordered our appetizers and drinks and a few minutes later we ordered our entrees. There were 3 couples at our table (and a child) and the 2 other couples got their appetizers but my husband and I did not. My friend asked our server about it and she said she would go find out but our appetizers never got to the table… once we were served our entrees we were asked if they should cancel the appetizers… which to we responded, of course! Highly disappointed… but not as disappointed as getting our entree and still not having the drink we ordered with our appetizers! I only had 2 passion fruit mojitos during meal here and it was because that’s how many I had time to drink… the one I ordered at the bar when we came in and had to wait for the rest of our party and the one that got to the table 10 mins after our meals did. The drinks took way too long. We were highly disappointed with the mofongo… it was bland and had no taste whatsoever… I guess they thought drowning it with criolla or garlic sauce would make it good, but it absolutely did not… I asked for a side of garlic to drench my Mofongo and shrimp in to eat it. The shrimp looked like it had been pre-cooked already for something like a shrimp cocktail and was thrown in red sauce last minute. I really wanted to love this place but sadly I will never be back.

Abby Singer’s Bistro – Menu with Prices – 617 Texas St, Shreveport

I can’t explain it! Well, this was my first experience at this restaurant and I wasn’t impressed. First off it was lunchtime and my time was limited. I waited 8mins at the wait to be seated sign for the rude waitress that coughed over everything to acknowledge I wanted service. It took a lady to walk over to her and tell her I was there… I ask the rude waitress who was the lady who alerted her of my presence and the waitress said” I don’t know who in the fuck she is”. Wow, what great customer service. I was told to sit at the bar to make my order. I ordered and watch the waitress cough, cough, touch money, cough into her hands and cough, cough, and cough without washing her hand. She then complain about her $3 tips. She cough and waited on other tables. This is how the flu and other germs are passed around. The Managers really need to teach your waitress hand sanitizing and how important it is to practice safe serve. I Ordered the chicken and waffles, it wasn’t a half of chicken and it was bland but with the hot honey sauce made it taste better. I wanted to take my family back for the experiences but I wasn’t really moved by the whole ideal….

En Fuego Tobacco Shop – Menu with Prices – 6190 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco

My wife and I were visiting Tx. for my motherâ??s 70th Birthday Party. We travel with our own portable humidor. We forgot our cutter at the hotel and we wanted to enjoy a cigar after the party. We decided on going to this establishment. An older guy (possibly the owner) was behind the counter. We asked him to use a cutter to enjoy our cigars. The guy snatched the bag of cigars out my hand and asked me where did I get these from. I was stunned, he stated if you donâ??t buy from here, you canâ??t smoke here, we left. One of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my history of traveling and visiting cigar shops. Iâ??m a business owner and would never use such an ridiculous policy. I may have bought several cigars when it was all said and done. But the unprofessional behavior conducted by this guy was unbelievable, I recommend not going to this place. Cigar shops are suppose to be relaxing. I only put a star cause I had to in order to post. This place gets no star!!!

Panini Kabob Grill – Bakersfield Menu with Prices 3111 Ming Ave Ste. 470, Bakersfield

Let me start this review of by saying that I’m half Persian, so I’ve gotten the chance to know what a good kabob is. I only tried the Beef Koobideh Kabob when I went, and I thought it was pretty good. It certainly wasn’t the best that I have had, but for the price you really can’t go wrong. My brother ordered the Beef Koobideh Kabob entree and I ordered the Koobideh Wrap. I thought that my wrap was a nice twist on the traditional way of eating kabob. The portions are huge, so I suggest sharing with someone else. The reason that this review has such a low rating is the service. Our waitress was terrible. From the start, she had a bad attitude and seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. I was very confused by this, because I saw her interactions with other tables and she was friendly to them. When I was deciding between two items on the menu and asked for her opinion, she replied with a very sarcastic answer and did not answer my question. She never came to check on us during the meal, not even once. At one point my brother wanted to order a water and I waved her down to ask for one. She made eye contact with me for a few seconds and then chose to ignore me and kept on walking away. I had to call out to her to ask for a water and then she seemed annoyed that I was asking her for one. I was very exasperated by this. At the end of the meal, we were trying to get our check but she was very hard to get a hold of. I ended up asking someone else for it, but she managed to get my waitress’s attention. We waited for close to fifteen minutes at the end of our meal to get the check, and then it took even longer for her to pick it up and return it. The service was extremely disappointing. I will not be returning to this location because of it. On the check it said that our waitress’s name was Rocio.

Grand Circus Diner – Menu with Prices – 1570 Woodward Ave, Detroit

We wanted to eat before the Tigers game and we chose this place. We sat down and was acknowledged about 5 min later with water. About 10 minutes later , we got menus. 10 min later we were able to finally order. Our waitress disappeared…for a long time and then came back with ” our we ready to order ..”Our party of 8 placed our order and we waited another 30 min for our food. While ” waiting” .. we could see our food that some of use ordered ..sitting up on the hot plate waiting to be served. Waitress was no where to be found . Another waitress came by to refill our waters- and we asked if that was our food sitting there .. She went up and grabbed 2 of our plates. One was mine . The fish meal. My fries were cold , my fish was mushy. The other 5 people didn’t get their food for another 15 min , after we complained to yet another manager that our table wasn’t fully served. I ate my fish, ( to wait another 10-15 for her to come back.. and I didn’t eat all day…) but left the fries and asked for fresh hot ones. Our bills came and we pulled the manager aside and told him our experience. He apologized,.. and eventually told us that ” after the game … to come back and we would get 1/2 off drinks”… come back at 11 pm? For drinks? To sit and wait again? Are you crazy? What a horrible experience. This was a joke . The waitress should of asked for help so her tables weren’t waiting on her. We also noticed other people who ordered after us , got their food before us. They ordered the fish also . Just ridiculous. $15 for 3 bite size pieces of fish and 10 cold fries … with dry Cole slaw .. not worth it. Get the burger . It’s more filling , and prob served hot

Detroit Street Filling Station Menu with Prices 300 Detroit St, Ann Arbor

This is my 3rd or 4th time here now and I usually try something different every time. Every single time now everything has been very bland, and lacking simple seasonings. I also had the worst service I’ve ever had in my life tonight and almost wanted to speak to management about it, but I’m not that person.. I just left my tip (even though it wasn’t worthy honestly) and left. To start, we were quickly sat down and given our drinks upon being seated by the hostess, so that was nice… however we then waited probably 5-10 minutes before finally seeing our waitress. At this point we were ready to order and did so. We ordered an appetizer to start, but followed by ordering our meal also. The appetizer came out quickly, but a few minutes later so did our meals which our tiny table didn’t have much room for and the waitress even commented on that. The food delivered was partially incorrect. I told the waitress red beans and rice and she wrote down bean and cheese tacos? Mistakes happen, I get it. She nicely apologizes and says it would be right out, and it was. As I said the food was very bland and the cornbread unfortunately tasted like cardboard, and my standards really aren’t that high.. We finish our meals and don’t see our waitress again for a while, and we even hear the customers who had walked in like 10 minutes ago ask another waitress if they can be helped so she took their order for her. Our waitress asked us if we wanted more water and if we wanted to go containers so we say yes to both. Don’t see her again for a while, then she returns with it and asks if we’re ready for the bill, we then asked to order dessert. We ordered 3 brownies which you’d think would be fast but again we waited a while. Our waitress finally comes back and points to the water she never filled back up for us and goes “do you want” then stops herself because it looked like she remembered what she was supposed to be doing. She then brought us our check and brownies and said the kitchen was crazy tonight, which again I totally understand but none of the other waitresses seemed to have these issues and were actually picking up a lot of her slack for her. I heard her keep messing up other tables also.. She seemed very scattered to say the least. Very unsatisfied with the customer service here.

Fire Point BBQ & Noodle – Menu with Prices – 34129 Fremont Blvd, Fremont

First, I have to say the food is 4-Star, but the service is really horrible, definitely one star. So I’m trying to be fair to give two stars. 1. They served the wrong order when I was going to eat, they took it back and re-assemble and serve to the other customer with the same food. Here is the details: I ordered a bunch of BBQ and I don’t even remember what I ordered. When the waitress served the two fishball, I put them on my plate and ready to eat. Right before I put them into my mouth, the waitress came and said, you have to pay for these or I can take them back. I was like, can I keep one coz I wanna try to see if I like it or not, she said no, either keep both and pay or none. Right after they took my plates away, I saw they served to another customer 1 min after they took my plate into the kitchen 2. Waitress didn’t seem to write down my order. I ordered the tea, but it was never served. In addition, I told the waitress to mild spicy for all food, but all the food are still regular spicy as I had before. I don’t think the waitress remember what I ordered and she didn’t write down either. 3. They didn’t commit the coupon that they put on yelp. After I checked in on yelp and I asked for the drink of herbal tea, they said the drink is limited to soda. Please fix it on yelp saying it’s limited to soda! 4. They start around 9pm to spray the Clorox on the tables, open the door and start to clean up. The problem is one of the tables is right next to my food and I was sitting next to the door and I was freezing , I thought they were closing, but yelp said they were closing at 11pm. I have no fxxx clues why they are cleaning up the restaurant so early. Overall, I think the boss should fix this service issue, I saw many other issues from other complains. After all, the food is still good and both my gf and I like the food.

Santucci’s Original Square Pizza – Menu with Prices – 655 N Broad St, Philadelphia

I felt targeted today and do not understand why. We arrived, followed soon by two other couples. We were asked to all sit on the benches while the tables were prepared. An extra table was added in a high traffic area to accommodate the Met event overflow. This crappy new table was offered to us. I asked for the table next to it – slightly less in the flow of traffic. They said yes. A few minutes later, both couples who arrived after us were seated at cushioned seats in low traffic areas. One couple had French fires before we even ordered. We waited. And waited. And ordered drinks. The two couples just behind us received their food and FINISHED their food before we RECEIVED our salad and main meal. The couple arriving WAY after us who was seated at the impromptu crappy table that we were first offered received their food before us. The food was great. But the experience was stressful and the “compensation” of not charging us for garlic bread that we ordered at 6:40pm, but received at 7:30pm was bizarre. It is truly a shame because I have enjoyed this place so many times, but the experience today felt passive aggressive, stressful, and creepy.
