Honestly I’m kind of at fault . When We walked in the place was completely empty during lunch rush hour. We sat down ,service was decent but I had to walk up to the bar just to see what types of beers they had on Tap as the waitress did not know. After ordering our drinks we decided on calamari and crawfish. Calamari was good but lacked a little bit of flavor but overall it was worth the price. Now when we get to the crawfish that was absolutely horrific. They had some garlic layered flavor but no true flavor in the crawfish. I was told by the chief that they are always fresh and that sometimes they mix them with non-fresh ones to fill orders. Half of my crawfish were dead and mushy and after eating four pieces I sent them back in which I took pictures of along with the receipt if anybody’s interested . I then was told I will pay full price and good luck. Lol we left and walked next door to Cici’s NEVER EAT HERE!

Cajun Seafood – Menu with Prices – 2707 Granby St #104a, Norfolk

Not the place for crawfish. Originally was really excited to get some crawfish take out, especially for only $5.99 per pound but was really disappointed with the quality. The crawfish looked huge but the tails inside were small and shriveled- as if they were previously frozen then over cooked. For 2 lbs I barely had enough to fill me up and the seasoning wasn’t flavorful and barely coated the crawfish. Would come and try the crab legs next time but definitely recco against getting the crawfish again.

Crawdad’s of Dallas – Menu with Prices – 2701 Fondren Dr, Dallas

Crawdad’s catered our company event and I’d be glad to recommend them to anyone considering Cajun food/crawfish boil as a party theme. They have a great catering menu and there is more than crawfish. We ordered crawfish for 30 and got a really good price per pound. For parties, you need to order 1 week before the event to ensure you get the most recent market price. We opted to get our crawfish cooked and ready to eat although you can hire them to cook the live crawfish at your location. If you get it precooked, it’s much cheaper. The food came in Styrofoam coolers that kept the crawfish hot until serving time. They were medium-large sized crawfish with lots of Cajun seasoning. The new potatoes were super creamy and the corn was so sweet and tasty. Definitely check them out! They’re the only crawfish caterer that will deliver to DFW locations.

Rockin’ Crawfish – Menu with Prices – 9777 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove

I was deciding between a four and a five star, but chose a 5. I’ve been here quite a few times and my parents actually love it here, but I’ve had different types of services each time (sometimes kind of slow service, but this is during the time that the restaurant is busy). Besides the service, I think the most important factor to look at is the food. I think there’s a good reason as to why this place is my parents go-to cajun restaurant. During the times where the crawfish comes out “fresh” or in season, it is absolutely phenomenal. The crawfish is HUGE and it sucks up all of that cajun juicy goodness. I also ordered their shrimp, and it always comes out so juicy and chewy. Sometimes, in other crawfish places (I won’t name which one), their shrimp comes out really mushy and gross… This is definitely not the case for Rockin Crawfish. The sauce has tons of garlic, which I absolutely LOVE, their spice is at a good level if you order mild/medium, and it is definitely NOT too salty (there’s places that have extremely salty sauces and it ruins the whole batch). My family usually orders medium, but I order the Volcano spice on the side (costs a little bit). Finally, their DEAL is amazzziiinggggg. You buy three pounds worth of seafood and you get one extra pound free! Never seen this at another place so that is very exciting. They have $1 oysters on a certain day and they have very reasonable price beers. Please check this place out!

Amore Ristorante – Menu with Prices – 4681 Tamiami Trail N, Naples

This was the first time I’ve been to this restaurant and I wasn’t that impressed. Four of us went here for my wife’s birthday, my son and daughter-in-law. We had reservations and we were seated promptly, we had to wait 15 minutes for our waiter to get our drink order, then when he came he told us about the specials and disappeared for another 10 minutes before he took our orders. My daughter-in-law and I ordered the sea food special, my wife the pork chop and son the veal. It took us about an hour to get our meal and when we did my son got the wrong dinner it wasn’t even veal the seafood meals were cold on the outside of the plate and barely warm in the middle of the plate, I was told that there would be scallops and shrimp and lobster tail, well I got 1 shrimp, 1 scallop and a lobster that was the size of a crawfish, and a whole lot of calamari (which wasn’t supposed to be in the meal) I don’t like calamari. The sea food wasn’t cooked properly all it was a disappointment. The only reason I gave it this many stars is my wife meal was good but she couldn’t understand why she only got a piece of meat and no sides. I you like throwing your money away enjoy this place but there a better places in Naples this was Olive Garden quality at an unrealistic price.

Captain Sid’s Seafood – Menu with Prices – 1700 Lake Ave, Metairie

Tourists pay attention, this is important info. If you are coming to Nola and plan to eat crawfish, here is some advice from a crawfish pro. First off, thereâ??s nothing like a home boil done right. If you have friends here that know what they are doing, youâ??ve hit the jackpot, Godspeed. If not, have no fear. There will be some chirps from the cheap seats but The Bucktown area of New Orleans, name ably Captain Sidâ??s, is the go to spot for boiled crawfish in the city for locals. Captain Sidâ??s competitor a block down is 1b to Captain Sidâ??s 1a. I wonâ??t mention them bc this is a Captain Sidâ??s review. Only bad thing is that these are both seafood markets with no dining area. However, if you have an AirBnb, do what the locals do, bring it back, dump it on the table outside and make it a party. Eating crawfish in restaurants usually will cost you a boatload, possibility double or triple the market price. Best months of the crawfish season are March, April and May but you may find some decent mud bugs a month before and/or after peak season. Iâ??d stay away from eating crawdads from July-December, chances are they could be from China, which is blasphemy!

P & L Seafood – Menu with Prices – 2200 Fairway Dr, Mobile

Even though this place is located in a sketchy part of Mobile, I would DEFINITELY recommend you come here. I haven’t had crawfish in years and after trying some not so fantastic seafood places, I was told to go here from a friend. At first I saw the location and didn’t really want to go in… but I’m glad I did! The owners are Vietnamese, so you KNOW they know how to cook! The prices are cheap and totally worth every penny! I went to Mudbugs and compared it to P & L’s but let me tell you, Mudbugs is NOT worth the wait. This place took me less than 2 minutes to go in and out. The crawfish is fresh and spicy, and hardly had any old or even small crawfish (unlike Mudbugs). After coming here a dozen times I feel horrible going to any other crawfish places. GO HERE! IT’S AMAZING!!!

The Taste of Mardi Gras Foods – Menu with Prices – 9180 Frisco St, Frisco

Dropped by the Frisco Fresh Market today to try the food from The Taste of Mardi Gras. I attempted last week but there was a huge line and I wasn’t sure what was on the menu. I decided before waiting in the long line I’d go up to the register and check out the menu. They had a board that listed some wonderful items however there were no prices. I picked up what I thought was a mini menu in front of the register however it was just a brochure. They were so busy because they cook to order most of what they sell I decided to look online, to no avail, and then decided to come back another time. I contacted them on social media and asked for them to post a menu with prices but to no avail. So, I dropped by today and there was no line. I was quoted a price of $8.99 a pound for boiled crawfish and saw they had put out 2 menus by the register. I purchased a 16″ Shrimp Po’boy ($21) and 3 pounds of crawfish ($27) to take home. My son really dislikes tomatoes and pickles, so we ordered the po’boy with lettuce only in addition to the garlic butter they add. When we got home my son unwrapped his po’boy to find the normal amount of tomatoes and pickles, no huge deal just disappointing, pull them off and eat it. The fried shrimp were wonderfully cooked and had a little kick added to the batter. The bread was outstanding and is from Gambino’s (if you know, you know). My crawfish were seasoned okay although we both detected a bit of sweetness that was somewhat off putting. There were a number of mushy tails, tails that were dark grey, and some that were hard. Most of the crawfish were very small, even though I realize this is early in the season I’ve had larger elsewhere here locally in the past couple weeks. When paying the premium price of $8.99 a pound for crawfish at a walk-up counter, I guess I expected more. The people behind the counter were very pleasant and conversive and I wish them well as a fellow Louisianan now Texan. P.S. Late this afternoon I got a response to my online inquiry about their prices however a bit late. I was told if you ask for “The Special” you can get the crawfish at $7.99 a pound. So far this year my standby for crawfish is a hole in the wall in Lewisville called the Bayou Market where you can get mud bugs for $6.99 lb anyday and 10 lbs or more for $5.99 lb. Waiting on Mudbugs Bar & Grill to open up soon on Hwy 423 to try them, is owned by Louisiana folks from Jennings who started out running live crawfish from LA to Dallas.

The Cajun Table – Menu with Prices – 4510 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy suite d, Lafayette

Excellent customer service and great food!!! I stopped by for a late dinner and wasn’t sure what I wanted. I’m sure glad I ordered the nachos! They were great! The tortilla chips were cooked perfectly and were very fresh. You can tell they aren’t store bought chips that’s for sure. The cheese sauce and fried crawfish tails were great as well. Overall the flavor was on point and the dish was hot and fresh! We also tried the shrimp and bacon wrap and it was really good. My only complaint was the tortilla it was wrapped in, it was a tad stale, but overall it was a great wrap. The shrimp were cooked well and it had great flavor. I have been here before during crawfish season and you can’t beat their crawfish boil. The prices are very reasonable and all the food is fresh. I just wish they would have beer on tap. That would be the icing on the cake. Needless to say, we will be back!

Laredo Express Sushi – Menu with Prices – 3302 Cuatro Vientos Dr, Laredo

Great price! The sushi was very good for the best price in town. I had a lot of trouble finding the place because the maps takes you outside of the plaza that is covered by a dead end. Which was very upsetting because I already live very far from this location. The rice was a little too dry almost like eating plastic food. And I was told the other side I believe is a crab salad could have been better as well. Besides that the sushi was delicious

Bay Seafood Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 23201 Aldine Westfield Rd, Spring

Dim lighting which is fine on a hot day and otherwise nice setting for the place. Bathroom a mess with one toilet that did not flush. Crawfish prices were not in the menu. Waiter started 5 pounds for $25 so I got 5. Menu said corn and potatoes included with crawfish and shrimp, waiter said not true and menu didn’t say it. Crawfish didn’t taste like they were all boiled together. Also came with corn and extra potatoes waiter took back because she said its not supposed to come with crawfish. Asked for extra seasoning it had been wet. Got bill it said $35 for crawfish. Waiter said that’s what she said and you can read it for yourself on the sign which is at the register so if you’re eating there you won’t see it until you leave. Didn’t even look at us when she was taking about it then turned back and continued talking with coworker. She knows I didn’t see sign because I asked her if they had crawfish and them I asked how much. She didn’t have anything to write down order. Asked several times what I was having so she could remember. Either she’s new or they are telling customers anything to make money. Either way she is the reason for my dissatisfaction and 2 stars. If waiter was better I would’ve gave 3 stars because boudin balls were delicious. And shrimp embrochette was ok would’ve been better if jalapenos were fresh.

LA Crawfish Katy – Menu with Prices – 569 S Mason Rd #102, Katy

Theres soooo many more good crawfish places with better service in the Katy area such as bb’S cafe or yummys crawfish. I only went here because they also offer pho. Their crawfish is not that great and the size is small. During off season they serve frozen crawfish. They also gave me a pretty bad batch of crawfish. I came to la crawfish on mason road on Monday March 11 at 7:30 pm. Nina told me they had 3 lbs of crawfish and double checked with the kitchen and told me I could only order 3lbs because they are sold out. While I’m waiting for my order dan goes to the pregnant lady behind me and tells her they have 3 lbs left. I brought 4 adults and 5 kids with me ready to eat crawfish and so disappointed they begged to go somewhere else. We came from sugar land and memorial city just to come because la crawfish had PhO and crawfish. Since pho shack is run by bad owners we didn’t support their business anymore. Everyone was pretty upset. I asked dan why he didn’t ask if we wanted it because we were at the counter at the cut off when they told us they were out of crawfish we had ten people and they only offered us 3 pounds. I was going to order about 8-10 pounds, and I couldn’t purchase any other food. If I didn’t have 5 kids with us we would have taken our business elsewhere but the kids were already hungry so we were forced to order other food. He responded that he didn’t take my order and at the time they didn’t have more crawfish. I asked him if a crawfish truck went and dropped off 3 pounds, he told me they re weighed their crawfish and found out they had 3 more pounds and only knew the 1 person behind me didn’t get any crawfish. So I was falsely advertised and forced to purchase things like chicken fried rice that no one even ate because we were told there was only 3 more pounds of crawfish. The chicken on the fried rice was like rubber. I didn’t even receive an apology. Nor did he offer more crawfish to me and my party. I refuse to come back to LA crawfish and I will be forced to write a very bad review commenting the bad service, false advertising, bad management and unfair treatment to customers. I asked who the manager was and it was the guy dan so I figured there was no hopes for any kind of apology offers. I’m never coming back and I hope my friends stop coming to LA crawfish. They didn’t even care how pissed off I was I even heard dan telling Nina she’s not getting in trouble for it and laughing about it in the background. I didn’t eat anything because I was afraid they may have done something to my food. Luckily for you guys we still spent over $100 at the establishment because the kids were so hungry and enjoyed the wings.

Andy’s Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 3450 Jordan Ln NW, Huntsville

I had no idea that Andy’s existed until a co-worker told me about them. They have snow crab, a few different types of shrimp, and fresh crawfish that they will steam for you on the spot. They also have fish. They don’t fry fish, but I was told that is coming soon. Plus, they have all the ingredients you need if you want to do your own fish fry or crawfish boil. In a city where everything is deep fried, steamed crab legs and shrimp makes my heart sing. The people working the counter are nice and the store is clean.
