My daughter and I ate here the first morning of our vacation. We made the mistake of sitting under the umbrellas instead of at the bar. Boy was it hot! There were few people at the bar so their service was very fast. We had one waiter serving the entire table section. He was running so fast to try and keep up with everything. He really was wonderful given the fact that someone failed to show up for work. The food was ok but very expensive. I ordered basic eggs, toast, and home fries. My daughter got an omelet. Our food was cooked perfectly. My daughter wanted strawberry jam, but all they had was grape and apple jelly. There’s no reason for that. The most popular is strawberry. Customers shouldn’t be forced to take something that they don’t want. The coffee was just okay and, because our server was so busy, was not refilled in a timely manner. Breakfast for 2 was around $27 not including tip. Our server was very nice and gave us water cups to go.

Peachtree Restaurant and Lounge – Menu with Prices – 251 N Progress Ave, Harrisburg

I really like the way the inside is done up seems like a nice environment and I couldn’t have asked for a better server but I had the worst experience with an omelet this morning. The “Spanish omelet” was pretty gross, and the menu is kinda misleading about what you’re actually getting, they made it seen like it was a house salsa that would be in and on top but its actually just rebranded vegetable soup, seriously….mushroom, carrots, celery and onions in what’s obviously a broth. I just wanna know what’s Spanish about that….and the home fries were under cooked and cover in cooking oil to the point where after the second bite my mouth was coated. And as a 22 year old man I never thought there would be a day that I would take the time out to make a bad review about some restaurant, but I have truly been compelled to do so this morning… and that says a lot

The Iron Daisy – Menu with Prices – 507 W Gaines St, Tallahassee

My daughter and I came here for dinner tonight. The server greeted us and told us we could take menus and sit wherever we wanted but we would need to come up to the bar to order. We found a table for two and talked while looking at the menu. We were interrupted by two flies that loved that table for some reason so we let them have it! We decided to eat at the bar. I ordered a hibiscus tea and the trio of Gaines street tacos- all with beyond beef (vegetarian beef option as I’m not a huge fan of jackfruit). My daughter ordered chicken quesadillas and we also wanted to check out the chips & salsa. The food came out fast! The tea was good- very mildly sweet. I liked the red and green tacos but I was not into the orange taco. The chips were greasy and unsalted, but the salsa tasted good although it was a bit too thin- rolled right off the chips. She loved the chicken quesadillas, but the beans were flavorless. So we were kinda disappointed with the food, but the server was super sweet and the decor is cool.

Shipley’s Donuts – Menu with Prices – 6571 FL-70, Bradenton

They are extremely clean, and have great customer service. Their donuts just don’t taste that great. The chocolate creme filled was good but my nephew who is 3 took 1.bite out of his 2 donuts both a chocolate and strawberry with sprinkles and refused to eat more saying it was nasty… He is 3 not a gourmet foodie. I tried a bite of the strawberry jelly filled and it was gross, too much jelly. I gave it to him and he had a bite and same thing, didn’t want it. Very disappointed

Mix Restaurant Menu with Prices 777 W Convention Way, Anaheim

We recently spent 4 nights at the Anaheim Hilton and on our last day there, decided to hit the hotel restaurant for breakfast so we could head right out to the airport afterwards. We asked at the hostess stand if it was a buffet or menu service. They said it was both. This made me happy since all I wanted was some oatmeal and fruit. Immediately we were asked what we’d like to drink. My husband selected coffee and orange juice, I asked for hot tea, our 10 yr old had apple juice. Then our waiter came by to take our order. I ordered my oatmeal w/fruit compote and a fresh fruit plate for us all to share. My husband then attempted to order an egg plate, and our daughter just wanted pancakes. Our waiter, Jhose, wasn’t having it. He kept interrupting us as we ordered, saying we should just get the buffet. The buffet was $28/pp and I knew my daughter and I would not eat enough to make that worthwhile! But he insisted, and when we mentioned the price, he said it would actually only be $15/pp, so cheaper to do the buffet than order everything separately. I was skeptical, so he basically dragged me over to the buffet to show me all the options. It was awkward, but since he insisted it would be cheaper for us this way, I reluctantly agreed to it. Only on my actual visit to the buffet did I see that, while they did have oatmeal, the accompanying berry/apple compote from the menu was not on the buffet. When I approached the fruit table, it was a sad selection of melon and pineapple, with some whole bananas available in a basket nearby – not the fresh berries I’d seen at other tables. I went back to our table while my husband took our daughter up to get pancakes. Guess what? NO pancakes on buffet! “They are coming” he was told. So sent her back to the table and got an omelet started for himself. Meanwhile I overheard the table next to us arguing with the waiter about being overcharged and “bait and switch” was specifically mentioned. Uh oh. I told my husband to look at the bill carefully before we leave… My daughter finally got her pancakes after about 15 minutes of waiting. My husband’s omelet was fine. But then we get the bill – and yep, we’re being charged $28/pp. My husband points out the error and Jhose starts back peddling and saying he never told us it would be $15/pp. So rather than arguing with him, we told the manager on the way out, and then complained at hotel checkout as well. The charges were eventually reversed, so it all ended well, but regardless it seemed like a hustle. Like individual menu orders were too much of a hassle for them, so they were told to push the buffet, where the quality of the food was less, it requires less service from employees, and they make a bigger profit.

Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery – Menu with Prices – 3501 50th St # 238, Lubbock

Stopped by Apple Tree & Bakery in Lubbock Tx today. Big mistake. Ordered French toast, scrambled eggs, & bacon. Eggs & bacon were. good. French toast wasn?t cooked enough. Asked them to cook it more. Brought back out. Only thing different was it had more cinnamon.. It hadn?t been cooked more. The waitress was so sweet. I left restaurant my daughter was still inside. The guy in the restaurant came out and yelled at my daughter about the toast. He really was a jerk the way he acted. The waitress was so embarrassed by his actions. To make matters worse there was 5 people in the restaurant that heard and saw everything. I won?t be going back to Apple Tree restaurant & Bakery.

The Taverna Menu with Prices 38 S Pearl St, Albany

Directly across from the Times Union Center so stopped before a concert. So glad we did, this place is a gem! Small little place but the food was excellent, the service was fast and prompt and the prices are very reasonable. Had a small town friendly atmosphere. Ordered grape leaves which were very tasty. The cheeseburger was like a mini meatloaf in pita bread. The fries were seasoned perfectly and a side salad came with the dinner. The portion was so large I got two meals. The Greek beer was very good too. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go again and try something else on the menu.

D’Road Cafe – Menu with Prices – 121 Montgomery St, Montgomery

You can choose anywhere you want to sit, then you go up to the bar and order a plate. I got the lunch plate, and because I’m vegetarian, they let me have some of each non-meat side they had. My favorite was the sweet potato noodles. They were seasoned perfectly! I couldn’t even tell they were potatoes. my fiance had breakfast. He ordered a veggie omelet. The inside was really good but the outside was overcooked in our opinion. If you like your omelet more like a golden crust then you’ll love it. That’s the only reason we’re giving them 4 stars and not five. The tea comes with the lunch and was tasty as well. Not overly sweet like sweet tea can be. Lunch also includes dessert! It was a bread-like cake with some kind of fruity sauce, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce! The staff were very quick to serve us as well. Great option if you are vegetarian or vegan and need a quick eat.

Moose’s By The Creek – Menu with Prices – 1710 Monticello Rd, Charlottesville

Chalk up another win for Yelp! As many times as we have run up and down 64 over the years, we would have never found this place. It’s a quick on and off the highway, so bonus points. Like others have said, it’s not much to look at from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Diners that look like doves are the best. The decor is eclectic, and quite frankly super fun. The menu is not huge, standard diner fare, which is probably why they do it so well. I had the Maine Moose – 2 eggs (scrambled perfectly with cheddar), 3 pieces of bacon (cooked to perfection), subbed grits for the home fries which were tasty and cooked well and an English muffin in place of toast. Everything thumbs up and it wasn’t such a huge portion that I walked out stuffed to the gills. Hubby had the C’Ville way and the cinnamon butter on the French toast was a nice touch. They lose a half star here because the French toast was cold. One kid had the western omelet, which she really liked, with a biscuit. The other kid had a Philly cheesesteak which was filled with lots of gooey cheese and on a nice soft, yet perfectly toasted buns. Not much to say about the shoestring fries other than they were there in abundance and good enough that we all helped him finish them! They lose another half star because the service was a bit spotty. To be fair, our server was slammed and while she did have some help (another woman brought us our check), there was another woman in the restaurant busy taking pictures of people in front of moose ears and yelling at the host/busser for not busing tables. I’m sure she was joking, sort of, and I am sure the pics are fun, but when they are slammed, she could have pitched in. Maybe she’s the owner? Either way, good meal, easy of the highway and a fun atmosphere mean we will be back when in this area again.

The Crazy Cucumber – Menu with Prices – 4414 SW College Rd #1910, Ocala

My daughter and I went for dinner last night. We arrived at 5 and were one of 3 tables with customers. Our server took our order for side salads and an appetizer then proceeded to try to take our menus. We explained we weren’t done ordering. She waited until our side salads arrived then started to take the menus. I stopped her to order something. She pointed to my daughters chair and asked ‘does she want something too?’. We both placed our orders. About 20 minutes later our food came. My daughter’s flat bread was so hard i could hit the crust with the back of my knife and you could hear it really loud. Our server waited another 10 minutes to come back to see how the meal was. My daughter explained that her flatbread was over cooked and asked if they could redo it. I finished my meal and we both sat an additional 20 minutes till my daughter’s 2nd flatbread arrived. It was just as hard, dark brown and crunchy as the first one. She was hungry and we were running late so she just ate it. The crust was so overcooked that the bottom of the crust separated from the top and stayed on the board when she picked it up. In total we were at the restaurant for an hour and a half. We won’t be returning there.

Burger Brothers House – Menu with Prices – 4050 W 12th Ave, Hialeah

I think the burger I had was pretty good, but it was really disappointing that the burger didnâ??t come with fries. The tater tots were a tease just donâ??t put them on the plate. Burger and fries is a classic combo, so I donâ??t think itâ??s reasonable to charge for fries. The strawberry shake should not be made with an artificial syrup, it would be better if they used fresh or frozen strawberries. The shake didnâ??t even taste like strawberry. They should invest in advertisements or something to attract people, the only reason I found this place was because I was craving a burger and found them on google maps. The plaza is kind of plain, the restaurant kind of blends in with everything else.

The Original Texas Toast – Menu with Prices – 603 Hearne Ave, San Antonio

-2 for the 20 minutes it took to get our food and the old fruit. BUT the good part the OTHER food and service. My girlfriend and I went this morning, the only 2 people that hour. So a 20 minute wait wasn’t ideal for an omelet, waffle and biscuits with gravy. The servers were attentive 5 servers for 2 people. I’d say losing money on labor but not my restaurant. Now the food: thank you for bring something different to the south side other than tacos. The waffle was nothing special, it tasted like a waffle. The biscuits and chorizo gravy was different but a good taste. IF you like sweet and spicy, as the biscuit was sweet. I didn’t eat it as im diabetic. My girlfriend had the house omelet. It was delicious slightly over cooked as they melted the cheese on top. It came with seasoned potatoes, fruit and toast. The potatoes were slightly greasy but flavorful. the toast was toasted inside the waffle maker making it soft and toasted, not a fan. ( no jelly offered) Last the fruit, horrible you will see in the picture. It screams old. Work out the little quirks and pay attention to detail. Btw, what’s with the blue liquid outside the door?

La Voya Brasserie – Menu with Prices – 5005 Glumack Dr, Minneapolis

The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. Amy was our server on a Sunday evening after our flight arrived and we checked into the Hotel Intercontinental. The restaurant is attached to the hotel, but that’s another story. Amy brought us a complimentary amuse bouche, consisting of sausage with a pickled onion and pickled mustard seeds. It was delightful. The mustard seeds pop in your mouth because they are tender from being cooked and pickled. Not too hot either. It was perfect with the beer my husband ordered (quite a variety of craft brews). We enjoyed the walleye. Perfectly seared and flaky. The lentils were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the steak au poivre with a compound butter and pureed potatoes. Spectacularly, the pistachio strawberry Pavlova is a must-try. It is evident that they have a seasoned pastry chef on staff because this plated dessert has many elements that work in perfect harmony. A scoop of Izzy’s strawberry ice cream sits atop of lime curd, while a dollop of crème fraîche finishes the fresh berries on the sizable meringue which is packed with pistachios! Do yourself a favor and order two!
