I came here with a friend who happened to be a fan of this place. I do enjoy a good cigar every once in awhile and didn’t even realize a place like this existed in Bakersfield. The place itself is rather small. They have a bar that seats about 5 and only serves beer and wine. Also in the same area are 2 small tables that sit 4 comfortably. There is also a small room next to the bar area with two leather sofas and a large leather chair. I couldn’t imagine coming here when the place is busy as there is not enough room to move around or seating to accommodate a large crowd. They do however have a fairly good sized walk in humidor which has a fairly large selection of cigars at decent prices. My one big complaint about this place is the lack of ventilation. If you came here and weren’t a cigar smoker I could see you having a very big problem with the place. Even I, as a cigar smoker, was pretty overwhelmed by the smoke. The bad part is there was hardly anyone there when we were. Imagine if the place was full. Due to the lack of ventilation I left smelling like I hot-boxed a small closet with Groucho Marx and George Burns. The same smell seems to linger in my car even after airing it out for two days. Even after all that however I would probably come back here during a late night around downtown with little else going on. If they put it some sort of ventilation or air filtration system they would be four stars in my book.

Executive Cigar Shop & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 843 E New Haven Ave, Melbourne

Dear yelp. I don’t even think I would consider myself a casual cigar smoker. To tell you the truth I probably couldn’t tell the difference between a $50 cigar and a Philly blunt. That being said the folks at executive cigar bar we’re more than willing to help me. I told him I wanted to smoke a couple stogies with my friends and they guided me to some cigars that were economical and gave me a little education as well. From that first trip I have made quite a few more. Each time the staff was insightful and patient with me. I think anyone from a first time smoker to and real expert would appreciate this business.

Grand River Cigar Lounge – Menu with Prices – 144 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids

My friend and I walked into Crand River Cigar just looking to grab a few cigars for a men’s night out. When I walked in I saw a fine establishment with a macho, yet welcoming, auora. With leather couches in the back and two large HD TVs, it was evident that this would be the place to cach the big game while indulging on some fine cigars. We were promptly greeted by the owner. He was extremely nice as he offered my friend and I a spot to watch the football game. Although we are relatively inexperienced in the cigar department, he was completely helpful and unassuming. As for the cigars, they were in a humidity controlled room inside of the shop. The assortment was as good as the price. With a wide variety of fine, well-priced cigars, kind staff, and an inviting, yet genuine, “cigar” vibe I will most definitely be returning to Grand River Cigar.

Shaker Cigar – Menu with Prices – 3581 Lee Rd, Cleveland

Shaker Cigar is everything you could expect in a cigar lounge. A very good selection of sticks: from Arturo Fuente to My Father’s Cigar and a lot in between. The proprietor was knowledgeable and friendly, and the clientele was welcoming. The lounge itself was even better than the pictures: several TV’s and good jazz playing in the background. Over-stuffed leather seating, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you are in central Cleveland, take time to stop by and smoke a stogie like it should be: in a comfortable atmosphere where you fell welcome! I fully recommend Shaker Cigar!

The “World Famous” Cigar Bar – Menu with Prices – 10045 Gulf Center Dr E-115, Fort Myers

Ok, so if you have followed my travels I do enjoy an occasional cigar. So when I first saw this location next to my hotel I thought it might be a gimmick or another bar trying to be a cigar haven. To my surprise this turned out to be one of the best cigar bars in the world I have visited (I preferred it much more than Burn in Naples unless you are all dressed up with no where to go). Pros: great local cigar bar where everyone literally know everyone on the place. Staff is great, especially Nick, whom oversees cigars… he is a phenomenal-tobacconist!, customers are very friendly, drink selection is great (talk to Eileen behind the bar if you have a chance since she orders most of everything), lots of cigars in their humidor, excellent location, Outback Steakhouse will even walk over and deliver their food to you here in case you want food. Cons: not much! Only negative I could ascertain was ventilation system is good but not the nest I have experienced. Overall, definitely a spot I will return to in the future!

Sanctuary Cigars – Menu with Prices – 7813 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery

I don’t know much about cigars other than it’s a really excellent way to relax once-in-awhile. So, I spent a couple hours here enjoying a cigar and sip of Scotch with a friend one afternoon, and had a supremely relaxing experience. The humidor is overwhelming. If you’re like me and don’t know what’s what, seek help. I have no recollection of what I selected, only that the humidor is probably bigger than my bedroom, maybe my living room, which is to say, there’s a lot to choose from. The staff is more than willing to help out. I learned there’s more than one way to cut a cigar. Crazy! My friend is a regular here, so I don’t know if I got a special kind of treatment, but I did have the privilege of being left alone with their scotch/whiskey collection for some time to contemplate my choices. The selection is fantastic, offering a little something for everyone and better than most Scotch selections at any given bar, though I concede I have not yet been to Hiram in downtown Montgomery. Once my cigar and whisky (Ardbeg Uigeadail, for those interested), I settled into a leather chair in the back parlor. The smoking room at the back is supremely well ventilated. There’s constant airflow to avoid it being smoky or excessively scented, which is a really fantastic touch. All-in-all, this was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in Montgomery so far, and it lives up to its name as a sanctuary to the bon vivant.

City Cigars – Menu with Prices – 615 Byberry Rd, Philadelphia

Great atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Incredible pricing and service with a smile. When I stopped through they were having $4.00 cigar specials in celebration of the ‘Nova Final Four win. Parking is abundant and the ventilation was right although I also was one of a few people smoking. Will have to take advantage of the BYOB.

Cordova Cigars – Menu with Prices – 6050 N 9th Ave, Pensacola

After visiting many cigar shops all over the US and the world I can say with confidence that this cigar shop is one of the best! Wonderful selection as well as a phenomenal atmosphere for all “styles” of smokers. Wanna sit outside? You can. Want to feel like your on your back porch at the house under some shade trees? You can. Dominos? Yes relaxing TV room? Yes and even a sitting area for just great conversation and talk about anything you want. The humidor is wonderfully cared for and full of cigars from all around. I mean the variety really makes this shop a must visit alone. Also enjoy a beer or wine as you enjoy the game on tv, dominos, chess, or just as you smoke your cigar. Overall this is what a cigar shop should be. Well done Cordova!

Fox Cigar Bar Scottsdale – Menu with Prices – 7443 E 6th Ave, Scottsdale

Fox Cigar Bar is a classy and inviting lounge that will appeal to many cigar enthusiasts but mostly drinkers…which is a shame. As far as cigar lounges go this is a nice one; the atmosphere is large, warm, friendly, and inviting. As soon as you walk through the door you immediately notice the HUGE bar which is the centerpiece of the lounge. This is intriguing for most, but as far as I’m concerned it takes away from the cigar lounge feel and gives the cigars and smoking a backseat to drinking. The rest of the Bar has several TVs and spots to sit inside and out. Sadly with the drinking and old town Scottsdale location comes some of the riffraff crowd and when I was there I felt a bit uncomfortable. The humidor room is decent, but Fox does not have relationship with some of the top cigar brands (like Davidoff for instance), and that’s one of my favorites. I thought it odd that they lacked popular cigars and it causes me to wonder why those brands don’t associate themselves with Fox. The man who helped me pick out some cigars was great; he was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and didn’t try to sell me. The prices for stogies are very reasonable which is nice, but I don’t know about the alcohol which is probably where they make most of their money. Fox Cigar Bar is a decent spot to relax and enjoy a smoke, but beware of the drinking crowd and know ahead of time that they might not carry some of the finer brands.

Nicahabana Cigars – Menu with Prices – 1605 E 7th Ave, Tampa

I don’t smoke cigars. I sometimes purchase them for family members who do smoke cigars. That’s why I came here – to buy famous Ybor City hand rolled cigars. This place was highly rated on Yelp, and Yelp did not steer me wrong. I got three cigars for my uncle’s birthday, and there was a dude off to the side rolling the cigars, plus everyone who worked here is Cuban I think. So. I’m fairly certain they’ll be good cigars. I do like cafe con leche, which this place also serves. Ordered some and it was very good. If you are a cigar smoker and a coffee drinker, you should come here. It’s on a cute little street in Ybor City.

Renegade Cigars – Menu with Prices – 1002 N Central Expy #589, Richardson

I was supposed to go to a different cigar place with a friend of mine but he ended up flaking (I know what you’re thinking, “what a douche.”) So, I ended up asking my best friend to smoke cigars with me at the last minute and he said yes! I tried looking for a place that was between where we were both located and Renegade Cigars had high ratings and was right in between us. This place wasn’t a disappointment. This wasn’t the best cigar place I’ve been to, but this is the first cigar place I’ve been to that was a great learning experience. At first I thought we walked in and there were people judging us because we were fairly new to smoking cigars. I’ve only smoked a few times and my best friend smoked about twice before coming here. The person behind the counter was fairly helpful. He taught me different types of cigars, the flavors, where they’re from, how long they last, how to cut, and how to light it up properly. He was very helpful and had great customer service. We ended up smoking outside for a bit but then came in because it got cold and he ended up coming by to switch our ash tray. Like I said, great customer service. I’m glad we came here. I’m glad that we had someone to teach us and to treat us as adults and not naive children. I will definitely be back.

Havana Cigars Menu with Prices 376 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta

We were leaving the Braves game and wanted to find a cigar shop close by that wasn’t going to make us feel underdressed. This place was perfect. As soon as we walked in other patrons and shop employees greeted us. At one point in the night I told the lady that was in charge that I felt like we’d stolen her from everyone else. We danced, smoked cigars, laughed and danced some more. There is outdoor seating which is a plus for me since I can’t take smoky air after a while due to allergies. As I write this I must admit they probably have a good ventilation system because the few times I stepped inside it didn’t seem as if the smoke was still in the air. We noticed their hours said they closed at 2am and since it was 2:30am, we began to question, what time they close and the answer was when everyone is ready to leave. So around 3, we started packing it in. As leaving, the lady host mention Fridays are ladies nite, so I definitely plan to partake in this establishment again. Most fun I’ve ever had at any cigar bar. I wish them long success in our lovely city

Casa Petrides Tobaccos – Menu with Prices – 735 W Dove Ave, McAllen

I’ve been to many cigar shops around the country and have had my share of cigars. Not having any great expectations for this border town in terms of cigars, I was blown away by the selection of cigars at Casa Petrides Tabaccos! The prices are moderate and comparable to any other cigar shop that I’ve been to. Life is too short to smoke cheap cigars anyway! From the basic cigar selection, to the premium, super premium and boutique selections, the Casa Petrides selection is outstanding! Additionally, they have a lounge and a bar where you can partake in a drink of your choice to pair with your cigar purchase. What more can you ask for? So, for all you cigar aficionados, if you happen to wander into McAllen, TX and have a hankering for a good cigar, make a “B-line” to Casa Petrides for a good smoke. Be prepared to spend some time in the humidor, because the selection is grand!
