hoppas ni haft en bra start på veckan! vi har äntligen kunnat skicka tillbaka Wincent till förskolan efter att han haft konstiga utslag i flera veckor, han har inte varit “sjuk” mer än att han verkar haft ont av utslagen.
Utslagen sitter dock kvar som innan men han verkade lida mer av att vara hemma med två jobbande föräldrar än att vara på förskolan så vi valde att låta honom gå idag och han var helt överlycklig! jag är så tacksam att våra barn trivs så bra på förskolan!
jag fick många frågor om Wincents utslag och många förslag på vad det kan vara eftersom läkarna vi träffat vid ett flertal gånger inte helt visste vad det kunde vara, vi har använt kortison i 1 vecka (enligt rekommendation) utan att det skett någon förbättring. Wincent har inte haft vattkoppor så det är inte bältros, vilket även läkarna konstaterade, utslagen sitter endast på vänstra sidan av kroppen och därav misstänkte man det vid första besöket. Det är inte utslag från tredagarsfeber för det har han också haft i början av Maj 2020 och de utslagen såg helt annorlunda ut och satt över hela kroppen.
Det började med att Wincent fick feber i 5 dagar, andra dagen började utslagen komma vilket jag då trodde var eksem eller virus utslag som kom av febern alternativt att han var uttorkad, men efter 5 dagar försvann febern (enda symtomet han hade) men utslagen satt och sitter fortsatt kvar, det har snart gått 2 veckor sen de uppkom, men eftersom han inte verkar vara allt för påverkad av utslagen så har jag nu bokat en tid till en hudläkare för att undersöka vidare, vill helst slippa vårdcentraler och akuten mer i dessa tider när det finns andra som behöver platserna mer än oss.
Så nu väntar jag på att vi ska få en tid hos hudläkaren så hoppas vi på att vi kan hjälpa honom med utslagen snabbt, för han har ont av dom, han visar och rör där hela tiden.

hope you had a good start to the week! we’ve finally been able to send Wincent back to preschool after he has had strange rashes for several weeks, he has not been “sick” in any other way but the rashes for the past week.
However, the rash remains as before but he seemed to suffer more from being home with two working parents than being at preschool so we chose to let him go today and he was totally overjoyed! I am so grateful that our children enjoy the preschool so well!
I got many questions about Wincent’s rash and many suggestions as to what it might be because the doctors we met at several times did not quite know what it could be, we have been using cortisone for 1 week (as recommended) without any improvement. Wincent has not had chickenpox so it is not shingles, which also the doctors noted, the rash is only on the left side of the body and hence it was suspected at the first visit. It is not a rash from three-day fever because he also had it in early May 2020 and the rashes looked completely different and sat all over the body.
It started with Wincent having a fever for 5 days, the second day the rash started coming, which I then thought was eczema or virus rash that came from the fever or he was dehydrated, but after 5 days the fever disappeared (the only symptom he had) but the rash sat and is still there, it has been almost two weeks since they occurred, but since he does not seem to be too affected by the rash, I have now booked a time for a dermatologist to investigate further, preferably avoid medical centers and emergency more in these times when there are others who need the places more than us.
So now I’m waiting for us to have a time at the dermatologist so we hope we can help him with the rash quickly, because he is in pain of them, he shows and touches there all the time.
