THE GREEN TIE BALL is such a great event and I have put together two looks that I think would be great for an occasion like this, I think that you can wear a pretty simple dress (as long as it has a great fit) and dress it up with fun accessories it doesn’t need to be that complicated. Let your imagination flow!

I’m a college student on a budget, and I want to give back to my parents for providing me with the best education. I am beyond grateful for their sacrifice and absolute love, so it would fill me with great joy to be able to send them off to this great event. And mom has been dying to wear her green dress that she has bought but hasn’t had the chance to wear yet 🙂 Thank you!
I am a 32 year old mother to 3 wonderful little boys. My husband and are are high school sweethearts and will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary on October 15th. We were never able to go on a honeymoon and kept our wedding very close to home. Living in the Chicagoland area our whole lives we have never really been out to an event in the city. Sadly our wedding day was the last time and the only we actually got dressed up together. Now we find ourselves in the midst of work and school schedules and fitting in a low key dinner for our anniversary. I would love the opportunity of winning these tickets for a night with my husband! To feel like a princess, in your company none the less! It’s like I’d be Conderella and you my fairy godmother, granting my wish to the ball. LOL! Hi Elina! My name is Matilda and I am a 24 year old student from Sweden. I moved to Chicago a year ago and I would love to go to an event like this. There are so many things that would be fun with this event, and a great experience. I would love to meet people from all over Chicago, experience a glamorous event for the first time, dress up to the teeth, and enjoy a night out in Chicago with a friend! And this is something that I would probably never experience in Sweden (except the “friend-part”)! 🙂 Have a good week!
I want to go because I have never been to a ball before and it is the perfect time to go so I can get away from college and celebrate my new research position and to celebrate with the man I love! College has been rough this year and this event would give me a chance to enjoy myself and reward my hard work!
First off, thank you for offering this amazing opportunity. I would absolutely love to go to this benefit! I have never been to anything like this. Because honestly my husband and I would never be able to afford it. And a night out with my husband sounds wonderful. (Not too many date nights with a couple of little ones at home) I am a stay at home Mom and my husband works long hours at his job.
I have always been a big believer in helping our environment any way i can. This cause is awesome in helping Chicago be more environmentally friendly. My husband I have two children, a three year old and a one year old. We try to teach them to take care of their environment. We also love this beautiful city and want it to stay that way. That is why I would love to support this cause. And most likely have an awesome night out (finally!) while doing some good!

Thank you for this opportunity! I’ve always wanted to attend Chicago’s Green Tie Ball and this sounds like the perfect chance. I love fashion and dressing up. I am an elementary school teacher so these opportunities don’t come around too often. Chicago charities do a great job of giving back to the community and this is yet another fabulous example!
I’ve always wanted to go to a ball. My husband and I have three kids, with a tight budget and limited trustworthy babysitter – date nights are few and far between. A charity benefit would be lots of fun to get dressed up and go out for a food cause!
My father recently passed away extremely unexpectedly and I think the ball will be a great way to help my mother get her mind off things and have some fun. And my father was very involved in the community so this is a perfect way of getting my a night off and remembering the community like my father would!
My husband and I recently got married (July 25!) and we are on a tight budget after the wedding. I think this would be a great and fun date night! Also we are always looking to get involved with local charities and good causes 🙂
